May I ask a few questions? I'm quite concerned of the breeder's behavior...

1. About openness and trust of communication between breeder and buyer after a contract is signed: I found occasionally that kittens were sick for a few/several days (diarrhea etc.) - the breeder did not tell ...

I'm also looking into the options to make my backyard cat-safe.
So far I'm considering 3 of them:
- Ask a "klusjesman" to make it with his (or Praxis) materials;
- DIY with stuff from Praxis etc.;
- DIY with a ready set of mesh, hooks etc. like this - https://protectapet.com/protectapet-cat-fence ...

.... We already looked at a few places. Just for orientation about the breed and breeders. We have not visited this one yet, but we receive updates on the kittens very often, read good reviews about them and know all the papers are valid. But ofcourse we still keep in mind that it might not work ...

Finally I ordered this one from Amazon.de:



Its height is about 160cm - a bit shorter than I was looking for but this cat tree was the best compromise taking into account the constrains of the design and number of the expected cats (2)

How exciting! My boyfriend and I were doubting between main coons and norwegian forest cats. Eventually we chose the norwegians. We are going to check out a cattery on the 2nd of september and if all goes well, we will have two little kitten brothers walking at our place in October as well.

I just checked the same question with the cattery today - we're going to move 2 Maine Coon kittens (brother and sister) to our home in the end of October (about 1.5 hours driving). The breeder even recommended us to use one transportation box for both of them.

There is still some time to prepare - kittens are quite small and come to us in the end of October when they be about 15 weeks old.

The contract for 2 kittens is signed and the down payment is transferred.

We are starting to prepare the house for Samuel (Sam) and Mercedes (Mercy )

I think it's a good choice to have two kittens. It's not only much nice for them, but also for you. I have two brothers (now 10 months old) and I still enjoy them playing and washing together every day.
